Hampshire College Interpersonal Connections

What is this?

This is a project to map out the sexual connections between students at Hampshire.

Is this anonymous, and how?

This is fully anonymous. No one, not even me, will know who you are and who you enter.
This is done by using a hash function to convert the names into a string of characters that is unique to that name.
This is commonly used to store passwords, and is irreversible. This means that no one can figure out who you are from the hash.

Why did you make this?

I was inspired by the linked tweet above, and simply wanted to recreate it for Hampshire.
Basically, I was bored. I like data, and I wanted to see how this would turn out.
